Confused mental health patient

I am not sure of this place. I went there this past Wednesday to the clinic only to sit there for a hour so I can be giving a appointment for that Friday for a assessment . Then the intake tells me I have to get assessment , then get a appointment wt a therapist and then get a appointment wt the physchiatrist. Well I'm almost out of meds and my next appointment to see the therapist is in mid October . So I asked them how to fill my meds up cause I can't just stop taking the medication, I was told to go to the er and they would fill them up there. What bs this is. I'm from California moved to sc lost my medicaid and my ssi I get 270 month for my disability . What a joke. Any suggestions or advice greatly appreciated. Thank you
